About the Academy

You will be part of an ambitious Melges 24 project, which with its professional approach puts emphasis on structured training, competition and marketing. In addition we have a huge amount of optional subjects and you would be part of a dynamic and vibrant student life at the Danish Folk high School in Aarhus Denmark.

Your daily training on the water will amongst other things focus on boat handling, tactics and optimal speed. Training is based on the professional life as a sailor and planned with national and international competitions in mind.
On land teaching is sailing related theory plus marketing and sponsorship. There will be work on worthwhile relationship with sponsors through sailing events and media.

A big part of your time you will spend at the Danish Folk high school which offers a variety of different subjects such as Danish, project management, multimedia, drama and much more.
